I was very saddened and shocked to hear the news of E. Lynn Harris' death on Friday, July 24. E. Lynn Harris was known for his contemporary African-American fiction that introduced us to the life of minority gay and bi-sexual men in the professional realm. He was a talented writer and will be sorely missed. Avis and I had the occasion of meeting him and taking a picture with him at a DST regional conference a few years ago.
